The Perfection of Imperfection
The image of a cracked pot popped into my head today and I immediately thought of Leonard Cohen’s lyrics, “Ring the bells that still can ring. Forget your perfect offering. There is a crack in everything. That’s how the light gets in.” The latter may have a philosophical/religious source – such a wise observation. You don’t have to be perfect; your imperfection is exactly the space that allows the Divine to work within you. What hope this thought gives us…
To your Happiness,
