Kita’s Gentle Message: Compassion, Empathy and Ubuntu

I’ve learned a new word this week: Ubuntu. It means “I am because of you”. Isn’t it beautiful? The word originates from South Africa and represents the interrelatedness of animals and humans. I’ve always loved the words “compassion” and “empathy” – because they evoke the need and desire to feel and feel for another person. It seems “ubuntu” completes this caring circle. I am because of you. Let ubuntu carry you through this special time of year.
To your happiness,
Kita
P.S. Have you challenges you’d like to share? Is the essence of ubuntu hard for you? Let me know so I can help.
