You have to Work at It
“There is a supposition that if you’re a good person intending to do good work, all will flow naturally to you. After all isn’t goodness enough to produce positive outcomes for your benefit and for those who are in your orbit? Logically this stands to reason but remember, goodness does not stand in the context of reason but in the realm of the Divine. If anything, the personal commitment to do good brings in a whole measure of self-discipline. Self-mastery becomes the name of the game, and you may question why you started on this quest in the first place. Once you have opened the door to grow your inner life, the idea of closing said door is nigh impossible. The gift of Self has been unwrapped and giving it back would break your heart.”
To your Happiness,
