The Pace is Quickening
“Summer is finally coming to North America where I live and with it seems to be a burst of events, visits, invitations, phone calls, confirmations, occasions, holidays and celebrations that winter just won’t oblige. Why even this Gentle Message is being written a day earlier! Fortunately the energy level is up and rising to the challenge of accepting all these opportunities and then getting to them on time. (Again snow, ice and wind just don’t compute well with this kind of schedule.) Warmth and a lingering sun are still to be desired but the birdsong of the morning, the dry streets and the supersonic greening indicate the former are on their way. No two ways about it: I am a summer girl!”
