Losing a Friend
“I looked out the window and saw an empty space. The sky was no longer filled with green moving against blue. The once hidden foundation of a roughly hewn garage was in plain sight – once beautifully camouflaged by one of nature’s splendors. I could now see clear across the large yard to the other street but it was of no real value to the majestic tree that once graced my view. I was sad but probably nowhere near the agony the other tree was experiencing; the one left behind, the one who had shared a life with a friend that was no longer there.”
To your Happiness,
