Shuffling Things Around
“Oops…the schedule has changed…whether person, place or thing, shuffling things around is the name of the game these days. The long-held appointment is postponed yet again. An awaited visit from a dear friend on hold due to illness. Unexpected thunderstorms nix the golf game. Fifteen chairs are needed; ten are available. Can someone pick up some? The list was followed to a “T”; unfortunately, batteries were left off the roster. Go back? Make do? Borrow? Replace? Forget about it? Are these small incidents teaching us patience, creativity, adaptability, and acceptance to prepare us for the big things in life? Is shuffling things around a form of resilience training perhaps? Sure, it is. Have just been informed about a missed meeting. Talk about synchronicity…”
To your Happiness,
