What is the Matter with You?
“When you are asked, “What’s the matter with you?”, it usually indicates something is wrong, out of place or unsettling for you. The question infers there is a heaviness about you; that you are carrying extra weight – a worry upon your shoulders. Taking this further, what is called “matter” is the visible, the tangible, the density of space. Could it be that taking “matters” into your own hands, is taking on extra density, heaviness into your life? Conversely saying, “It matters not,” is rejecting or removing what could be burdensome to you. How about the idea of moving from density of thought to lightness of being? Feeling light instead of heavy? Sounds good – and is good.”
